Once under Italian rulers this nation of people have spent the past few generations rediscovering who they are as a tribe and a family which stretches the entirety of the globe. Amazing leaders and strong individuals have risen from this region, as well as been inspired by the culture and sights of this area.
2023 marks a new era for our people, we have new titles and responsibilities in places our fathers and ancestors have never been or known. What does this mean for us? It means we have evolved, but we will never sever our own roots. We respect authority, elders, and relationships in an enmeshed world we can trace to our neighbors and even our own tribes. It is a soulful witness. Every day we learn new things and adapt, we are very spiritual and family oriented. Know if you deal with a Habesha that knows where they came from: the clothes and accent, the circles of friends and mannerisms, mean nothing.
